Bulldozers of Israeli municipality of Occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Tuesday demolished two shops in al-Issawiya, an East Al-Quds (Jerusalem) neighborhood, at the pretext of lacking construction permits.
A member of the follow up committee in al-Issawiya, Mohammad Abu al-Humus, said that municipality staff accompanied by Israeli forces and bulldozers stormed the plaza of al-Arbaien Mosque and demolished two shops for selling fast food. One of which has been built for ten years.
Israeli forces have been imposing strict restrictions on the neighborhood over the past two weeks, including closing off its main entrances leading to blocked traffic.
