Abu Snaineh condemns Israeli violations at al-Aqsa Published: Sat, 11-November-2017

Sheikh Yousef Abu Snaineh, preacher of al-Aqsa Mosque, condemned Israeli violations at al-Aqsa and against the Palestinians in general including killings, arrests, incursions, intimidation of civilians, and ill-treatment against prisoners.

In his Friday sermon, he also denounced the Israeli policy of settlement and confiscation of Palestinians’ lands as well as the repeated incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque and tightening security measures at the holy site. He warned of the breakout of tension among the Jerusalemite people as a result of Israeli imposition of high taxes.

Al-Aqsa preacher called on Muslims around the world to bear their responsibilities in defending and frequenting the holy site.

Over 40,000 Palestinians performed Friday prayer coming from Occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the Green Line and the West Bank amid tightened security measures by Israeli police.
