Israelis spray-paint racist graffiti near Al-Quds's (Jerusalem's) Maghareba Gate Published: Tue, 13-February-2018

Israeli settlers on Monday morning spray-painted anti-Palestinian graffiti on walls and damaged Palestinian-owned cars after raiding Al-Quds's (Jerusalem's) neighborhood of al-Maghreba.

The Israeli police spokesman said a probe has been launched to chase the perpetrators. However, no suspect has yet been arrested.

Israeli settlers residing in illegal outposts across the occupied Palestinian territories often spray-paint “death to Arabs” and racist price tag on walls of Palestinian homes and property.

Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds (Jerusalem). Israeli vandals are rarely prosecuted by the occupation authorities.

Settlers' violence includes property and mosque arson-attacks, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and assaults on civilian homes, among others.

Many activists and rights groups have accused Israel of fostering a “culture of impunity” for Israelis committing violent acts and acts of terrorism against Palestinians.
