IOF surrounds family home of Palestinian suspect in Tulkarem Published: Thu, 08-November-2018

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Wednesday afternoon surrounded the family home of Ashraf Na’alwa, accused of killing two settlers last month in the northern West Bank village of Shweika, north of Tulkarem.

A large number of Israeli troops raided Shweika village, and surrounded the family home of Ashraf Na’alwa, the main suspect in killing two Israeli settlers in early October in the illegal Israeli settlement of Barkan, amidst the firing of stun grenades and live ammunition.

His sister was arrested and interrogated during the raid, PIC reporter said.

The IOF violently searched the house for more than two hours.

This came at a time when Israeli troops detained Na'alwa’s father, Walid, during a predawn raid into the village.

Na'alwa’s mother, Wafaa, brother, Amjad, and sister, Fayrouz, have been placed behind Israeli bars for around a month in a failed attempt to pressure him to turn himself in.

Daily Israeli campaigns in Shweika and different areas of Tulkarem were launched to look for him.
